Sometimes that means to take a career break and more often than not it is a woman who finds herself at this crossroad.

We at HCL believe that this is not a break but a time when they perfects other skills and attributes like compassion, empathy, mental strength, multitasking, task management, etc. which are not only required but essential in the employees. HCL’s iBelieve – Women’s Career Program provides an opportunity to these women to pick up their IT career exactly from where they left off.

Eligibility:

Non-HCLites:

  • Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech / MCA / MSC (CS / IT) / BSc (CS), BCA
  • Age no bar
  • Minimum experience of 2 years before the break
  • Career break of more than 2 years but less than 6 years
  • Location: Chennai & Bangalore (Training will only be in Chennai)

HCL Alumni: (Green Channel Hiring)

  • Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech / MCA / MSC (CS / IT) / BSc (CS), BCA

Program Details:

HCL's 'iBelieve - Women Career Program' is a 1-3 month job assured training program for women wanting to return back to the IT industry after taking a break from their professional life. The training takes into consideration your previous experience and job role. The program duration for the candidate would depend upon her performance in the selection process and candidates would be categorized into any of the two programs, Upgrade or Refresher. Both programs include extensive classroom training with an aim to refresh the current skill set you possess and upgrade the skillset to Next (modern industry skills) technology skills. The training would be followed by an immediate appointment at HCL Chennai.

Program Formats:

  • UPGRADE: One month training program with a main focus on upgrading skillset to Next (modern industry) technologies and refresh Now (current industry) technologies.
  • REFRESHER: Three month training with the focus on refreshing your Now skills and impart knowledge on Next (modern industry) technologies.

The program training would be conducted in one of two categories - with 1 month training and with 3 month training. 1 month will have a main focus on upgrading the skillset to Next (modern industry skills) technologies and a refresher of the Now (Skill set you possessed before the break) skills, While the 3 month training will have an aim to refresh your current skills and impart knowledge on Next (modern industry skills) technology skills.

Selection Process:

  • Walk in to HCL TSS centre.
  • Appear for an online test (IKM test and practical test)
  • Post the online test appear for a Job Role Assessment Interview
  • Based on your performance in the test & interview you will be categorized into
    • Upgrade: Training will have the main focus on upgrading the skillset to Next (modern industry skills) technologies and a refresher of the Now (Skillset you possessed before the break) skills.
    • Refresher: Training will have an aim to refresh your current skills and impart knowledge on Next (modern industry skills) technology skills.

Program Duration:

1-3 months extensive training based upon your performance in the selection process

Starting Salary:

INR 3.6 Lakhs onwards basis experience and skill proficiency

Program Fee:

Fees for the Program: INR 2,50,000 + Taxes
